Step-by-Step Instructions for Lemon Caper Sauce
- In a small skillet over medium heat, add 4 tablespoons of unsalted butter along with 1 tablespoon of olive oil. Melt completely until it begins to bubble gently, about 2 minutes.
 - Once bubbling, add 1 clove of minced garlic. Sauté for about 30 seconds, stirring constantly until fragrant and lightly golden.
 - Stir in 2 tablespoons of fresh lemon juice and 2 tablespoons of drained capers. Simmer for 2-3 minutes, stirring occasionally until the sauce thickens slightly.
 - Taste and adjust seasoning with salt and pepper as preferred. Stir well to combine evenly.
 - Remove from heat and stir in 1 tablespoon of chopped fresh parsley for color and flavor.
 - Serve immediately over grilled fish, roasted chicken, or steamed vegetables.
