  • 1/4 cup Coconut Oil or Cacao Butter Use coconut oil for a creamy flavor or cacao butter for baking.
  • 1/2 cup Peanut Flour or Nut Butter Substitute with almond butter or other nut butter if desired.
  • 2 tablespoons Pure Maple Syrup Replace with an additional tablespoon of oil and sweeten with stevia drops for a sugar-free option.

Method
 

Preparation Steps
  1. Melt either coconut oil or cacao butter in a small saucepan over low heat, stirring occasionally until completely liquid, about 2-3 minutes.
  2. Remove from heat and transfer the liquid to a mixing bowl. Add peanut flour or nut butter and pure maple syrup. Stir vigorously until smooth.
  3. Pour the mixture into molds or spread on wax/parchment paper, smoothing to about 1/4 inch thick.
  4. Place in the freezer for 30-60 minutes until solid.
  5. Once solid, remove from molds or break into pieces. Store in the freezer for the coconut oil version for freshness.
