- Stir in melted butter, sugar, egg, and vanilla extract until combined.
- In another bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, salt, and cinnamon.
- Gradually add the dry mixture to the wet ingredients, folding gently.
- If desired, fold in chopped walnuts, pecans, or chocolate chips.
- Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan and smooth the top.
- Bake for 55-60 minutes until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Cool in the pan for 10 minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
