Step‑by‑Step Instructions for Cowboy Butter Steak Bites
  1. Heat a medium skillet over medium-high heat and drizzle in olive oil. Heat until shimmering, about 2-3 minutes.
  2. Add steak pieces in a single layer to the skillet. Sear for 1½ to 2 minutes, then flip and cook for an additional 1 to 2 minutes.
  3. Reduce heat to medium and add half of the cowboy butter to the skillet. Toss for about 1 minute to coat the steak bites.
  4. For air fryer: Preheat to 400°F. Cook the seasoned steak bites for 4 to 6 minutes, shaking halfway.
  5. Transfer the steak bites to a serving plate and drizzle with remaining cowboy butter or serve on the side.
