Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. In a large bowl, combine grated onion, ground beef, breadcrumbs, salt, pepper, heavy cream, and the egg. Mix gently until just combined.
  2. Divide the mixture into four equal portions and shape into patties about ¾ inch thick.
  3. Heat olive oil and unsalted butter in a skillet over medium heat.
  4. Sear the patties in the hot skillet for 4-5 minutes on each side until golden brown.
