Step‑by‑Step Instructions
  1. Toast Coconut: In a sauté pan, add sweetened shredded coconut and stir constantly over medium-high heat for 5–7 minutes until golden brown. Reserve ½ cup for topping.
  2. Prepare Dulce de Leche: Combine dulce de leche and milk in a microwave-safe bowl. Microwave for 1.5 minutes, stirring halfway through until smooth.
  3. Melt Marshmallows and Butter: In a large bowl, combine mini marshmallows and butter. Microwave for 1–2 minutes, stirring until melted and smooth.
  4. Combine with Cereal: Fold in Rice Krispie cereal into the melted marshmallow mixture until evenly coated.
  5. Layering: Grease an 8x12 inch pan, press half of the cereal mixture firmly into the bottom, then spread the dulce de leche mixture and top with remaining cereal.
  6. Finishing Touch: Melt semi-sweet chocolate and drizzle over the top. Sprinkle reserved toasted coconut before the chocolate sets.
