Method
 

Brewing Instructions
  1. Begin by sterilizing a 1-quart heatproof pitcher and rinse it with hot water.
  2. Layer 1 tablespoon of dried culinary lavender and 2 teaspoons of black tea leaves in the infuser or pitcher.
  3. Heat 4 cups of water in a kettle until it reaches 195–205°F.
  4. Pour hot water over lavender and tea blend in the warm pitcher, then cover and steep for 10 minutes.
  5. Remove infuser or strain out tea leaves and lavender; stir in honey or agave syrup while warm.
  6. Let the tea cool to room temperature for about 20 minutes before transferring it to the refrigerator.
  7. Allow the Lavender Iced Tea to chill in the refrigerator for at least 75 minutes.
  8. Serve over ice cubes; garnish with fresh lemon slices and a sprig of lavender.

Notes
