Brewing Instructions
- Begin by sterilizing a 1-quart heatproof pitcher and rinse it with hot water.
- Layer 1 tablespoon of dried culinary lavender and 2 teaspoons of black tea leaves in the infuser or pitcher.
- Heat 4 cups of water in a kettle until it reaches 195–205°F.
- Pour hot water over lavender and tea blend in the warm pitcher, then cover and steep for 10 minutes.
- Remove infuser or strain out tea leaves and lavender; stir in honey or agave syrup while warm.
- Let the tea cool to room temperature for about 20 minutes before transferring it to the refrigerator.
- Allow the Lavender Iced Tea to chill in the refrigerator for at least 75 minutes.
- Serve over ice cubes; garnish with fresh lemon slices and a sprig of lavender.
