- In a clean mason jar or airtight container, add rolled oats, milk, sugar, and chia seeds. Sprinkle in cardamom powder and salt. If using, add saffron.
- Stir the mixture vigorously until all ingredients are well combined and oats are fully coated.
- Cover the jar tightly and place it in the refrigerator. Allow to soak for at least 6 hours, ideally overnight.
- The next morning, stir the oats again to ensure everything is well mixed. Adjust sweetness by adding more sugar if desired.
- Spoon the oats into bowls and sprinkle chopped pistachios on top before serving.
