Ingredients

  • 2 6-ounce salmon fillets
  • 1/4 cup fresh orange juice
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon minced garlic
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground ginger
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley for garnish

Method

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease it with cooking spray.
  2. In a small bowl, whisk together the orange juice, honey, soy sauce, olive oil, minced garlic, and ground ginger until well combined.
  3. Place the salmon fillets on the prepared baking sheet, skin-side down. Season with salt and pepper.
  4. Brush the orange glaze generously over the salmon fillets, reserving some for later.
  5. Bake the salmon in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes, or until the salmon flakes easily with a fork.
  6. In the last 2 minutes of baking, switch the oven to broil and broil the salmon for an additional 1-2 minutes to caramelize the glaze. Keep a close eye on it to prevent burning.
  7. Remove the salmon from the oven and drizzle with the reserved glaze. Garnish with chopped parsley before serving.
