Ingredients

  • 2 6-ounce salmon fillets
  • 1/4 cup fresh orange juice
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon minced garlic
  • 1 teaspoon grated fresh ginger
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh orange slices and chopped parsley for garnish

Method

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease it with cooking spray.
  2. In a small bowl, whisk together the orange juice, honey, soy sauce, minced garlic, and grated ginger until well combined.
  3. Place the salmon fillets on the prepared baking sheet, skin side down. Drizzle the olive oil over the fillets and season with salt and pepper.
  4. Pour the orange glaze over the salmon, making sure to coat it evenly.
  5. Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes, or until the salmon flakes easily with a fork and is cooked through.
  6. For an extra caramelized finish, broil the salmon for an additional 2-3 minutes at the end of the baking time, watching closely to prevent burning.
  7. Remove from the oven and let it rest for a few minutes. Garnish with fresh orange slices and chopped parsley before serving.
