Ingredients
  

For the Meatballs
  • 1 pound Ground Beef or Ground Turkey
  • 1/2 cup Breadcrumbs panko for extra crunch
  • 1/4 cup Green Onions finely chopped
  • 2 cloves Garlic minced
  • 1 tablespoon Ginger grated
  • 1 tablespoon Soy Sauce or tamari
  • 1 tablespoon Sesame Oil or vegetable oil
  • 1 large Egg can substitute with flax egg
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon Black Pepper
  • 1 tablespoon Brown Sugar optional, maple syrup substitute
For the Spicy Mayo Dip
  • 1/2 cup Mayonnaise or Greek yogurt
  • 2 tablespoons Sriracha adjust for spiciness
  • 1 tablespoon Lemon Juice or rice vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon Soy Sauce or tamari

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine ground beef (or ground turkey), breadcrumbs, finely chopped green onions, minced garlic, grated ginger, soy sauce, sesame oil, egg, and a pinch of salt and pepper. Knead the mixture gently until well integrated.
  3. Form small meatballs about 1 inch in diameter and place them onto the prepared baking sheet.
  4. Bake the meatballs for 20 to 25 minutes until golden brown and cooked through.
  5. While the meatballs bake, whisk together mayonnaise, sriracha, lemon juice, and soy sauce in a small bowl.
  6. Sprinkle sesame seeds and chopped green onions over the spicy mayo dip before serving.
  7. Once the meatballs are done baking, allow them to cool slightly, then serve alongside the spicy mayo dip.
