Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup King’s Hawaiian Sweet Rolls chopped
  • 8 ounces cream cheese softened
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1/2 teaspoon lemon juice
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 cup fresh pineapple diced
  • 1/4 cup shredded coconut
  • 1 egg beaten (for egg wash)
  • 1 tablespoon melted butter for brushing

Method
 

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the chopped King’s Hawaiian Sweet Rolls and set aside.
  3. In another bowl, beat together the softened cream cheese, powdered sugar, vanilla extract, sour cream, lemon juice, and salt until smooth and creamy.
  4. Fold in the diced pineapple and shredded coconut into the cream cheese mixture until well combined.
  5. Take a baking dish and layer the chopped sweet rolls at the bottom.
  6. Pour the cream cheese mixture over the rolls, spreading it evenly.
  7. Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and the filling is set.
  8. Remove from the oven and brush the top with melted butter and the beaten egg for a glossy finish.
  9. Let it cool for about 10 minutes before serving.
