Step‑by‑Step Instructions for Hot Chocolate Cookies
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line baking sheets with parchment paper.
  2. In a bowl, combine butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar. Cream together for 3-5 minutes until light and fluffy.
  3. Add egg, milk, and vanilla extract. Mix until well combined.
  4. In another bowl, whisk flour, cocoa mix, cocoa powder, baking soda, and salt. Gradually add to the wet mixture.
  5. Fold in chocolate chips and marshmallow bits.
  6. Scoop dough onto baking sheets, leaving 2 inches of space between each cookie.
  7. Bake for 8-10 minutes until edges are set but centers remain soft.
  8. Press extra marshmallow bits and chocolate chips into cookies as soon as they come out of the oven.
  9. Cool on baking sheets for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
