- In a medium saucepan, heat the olive oil over medium heat.
 - Add the crushed tomatoes to the saucepan and stir to combine.
 - Sprinkle in the oregano, basil, garlic powder, onion powder, sugar, salt, black pepper, and red pepper flakes (if using).
 - Bring the mixture to a simmer, then reduce the heat to low.
 - Let the sauce simmer for about 20-30 minutes, stirring occasionally, until it thickens to your desired consistency.
 - Remove from heat and let cool slightly before using on your pizza.
