Step-by-Step Instructions for Ground Chicken Sweet Chili Noodles
- Start by heating a large skillet over medium-high heat for about 2 minutes. Once hot, add 1 tablespoon of sesame oil, swirling it around to coat the bottom of the skillet evenly.
- Add 1 pound of ground chicken and the white parts of the green onions to the skillet. Break the chicken apart with a spatula as it cooks for about 5-7 minutes, or until the meat is no longer pink and begins to brown.
- Reduce the heat to medium and stir in 2 minced garlic cloves, 1 tablespoon of grated fresh ginger, and the green parts of the onions. Sauté everything together for 2-3 minutes until fragrant and the onions start to soften.
- In a small bowl, whisk together 3/4 cup of sweet chili sauce, 2 tablespoons of light brown sugar, 3 tablespoons of low-sodium soy sauce, and 2 tablespoons of rice wine vinegar.
- Add your cooked noodles (9 oz of ramen or rice noodles) to the skillet with the chicken mixture. Pour the sauce over everything, then gently toss to combine. Cook for an additional 3-4 minutes.
- Season your Ground Chicken Sweet Chili Noodles with salt and pepper to taste. Once everything is well-mixed and hot, sprinkle sesame seeds and red pepper flakes on top. Serve warm.
