Method
 

Muffin Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and prepare a muffin tin with liners or non-stick spray.
  2. Mash the ripe bananas in a large mixing bowl until smooth, about 2-3 minutes.
  3. Mix in sugar, Greek yogurt (or applesauce), and the egg until well combined.
  4. In another bowl, whisk together flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and a pinch of salt.
  5. Gradually fold the dry ingredients into the wet mix, being careful not to overmix.
  6. Fold in chocolate chips until evenly distributed.
  7. Fill muffin cups about 2/3 full, adding extra chips on top if desired.
  8. Bake for 18-20 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
