Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Beat in the egg, then gradually add the flour, baking soda, portion of ground strawberries, and kosher salt. Fold in the strawberry jam.
  2. Roll dough into balls using about one tablespoon per cookie. Arrange the cookie balls on the baking sheet, leaving space between each. Bake for 8 minutes, then tap the baking sheet to flatten cookies slightly. Continue baking for an additional 2-3 minutes until edges are golden.
  3. Prepare the icing by mixing together cream cheese, powdered sugar, hot milk, vanilla extract, and remaining ground strawberries until smooth. Adjust consistency as needed.
  4. Once the cookies are completely cooled, dip or drizzle the icing over each cookie. Allow the icing to set before enjoying with family and friends.
