Ingredients
  

For the Rice
  • cups Uncooked Rice white, brown, or jasmine
For the Turkey Mixture
  • 1 lb Ground Turkey lean protein source
  • 1 tbsp Olive Oil for sautéing; can substitute with sesame oil
  • 2 cloves Garlic minced
  • 2 tbsp Low-Sodium Soy Sauce for umami flavor
  • 1 tbsp Ginger Paste or freshly grated ginger
  • 1 tbsp Chili Paste adjust to taste
  • 1 tbsp Sesame Oil optional
  • 1 tbsp Fish Sauce optional; extra soy sauce can be used
For Garnishes
  • Optional Garnishes sesame seeds, chopped peanuts, chili oil, sliced green onions, or sliced chili peppers

Method
 

Cooking Instructions
  1. Cook your chosen rice according to the package instructions. Rinse the rice under cool water. Set aside once cooked.
  2. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add ground turkey and brown for 5-7 minutes.
  3. Stir in garlic, soy sauce, ginger paste, chili paste, sesame oil, and fish sauce. Cook for 2-3 minutes.
  4. Layer cooked rice into serving bowls and top with the turkey mixture. Add any additional toppings.
  5. Serve hot, optionally drizzled with chili oil.
