  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9x13-inch baking dish and line the bottom with parchment paper.
  2. Melt 1 cup of unsalted butter in a medium saucepan over medium heat. Add granulated sugar and dark brown sugar until smooth and remove from heat.
