Texture and Topping
  • 4 cups marshmallows Mix in 2 cups for chewiness and 2 cups for topping.
  • 0.5 cups peppermint candy canes, crushed Provide a refreshing crunch and festive decoration.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Prepare an 8x8-inch baking pan, lining it with foil or parchment paper.
  2. In a double boiler, combine chocolate chips, butter, sweetened condensed milk, and hot chocolate mix. Melt over medium heat, stirring for 5-7 minutes.
  3. Remove from heat and fold in 2 cups of marshmallows. Add vanilla and mix well.
  4. Pour mixture into the prepared baking pan and spread evenly. Top with remaining marshmallows.
  5. Cover and refrigerate for at least 4 hours until firm.
  6. Once set, lift the fudge out of the pan and cut into squares.
  7. Melt remaining chocolate in a microwave-safe bowl and drizzle over the squares.
  8. Let the chocolate set completely at room temperature or refrigerate for quick results.
