Method
 

Step‑by‑Step Instructions
  1. In a small saucepan over low heat, combine ½ cup of unsalted butter with 1 ½ cups of semi-sweet chocolate chips. Stir constantly until melted and smooth, about 5 minutes.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, whisk together ½ cup of white sugar and ½ cup of brown sugar until blended, about 1-2 minutes.
  3. Add 3 eggs, 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract, and 1 teaspoon of salt to the sugar mixture. Whisk until smooth and fluffy, about 3-4 minutes.
  4. Gradually sift in ½ cup of all-purpose flour and ½ cup of cocoa powder into the wet mixture. Gently fold until just combined, with no visible flour streaks.
  5. Fold in 2 cups of roughly crushed Oreos until evenly distributed throughout the batter.
  6. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and prepare an 8"x8" baking dish by lining with parchment paper.
  7. Pour the brownie batter into the prepared baking dish and spread evenly. Bake for 30 minutes.
  8. Allow the brownies to cool in the pan for about 20 minutes, then slice and serve.
