Method
 

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and prepare a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a mixing bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
  3. In a large bowl, beat together the softened butter and granulated sugar until light and fluffy.
  4. Add in the egg and vanilla extract to the butter mixture and mix until blended.
  5. Gradually fold the dry ingredients into the wet ingredients until just combined.
  6. Scoop out the dough onto the prepared baking sheet leaving space between each.
  7. Bake for 10-12 minutes until the edges are golden and the centers are set.
  8. Press down into the center of each cooled cookie to create an indentation.
  9. Fill each indentation with vanilla custard using a piping bag or small spoon.
  10. Melt chocolate chips with vegetable oil and drizzle over the filled cookies.
  11. Let the chocolate set for about 10-15 minutes at room temperature.
