- Soak 1 cup of sunflower seeds and 1/2 cup of sun-dried tomatoes in boiling water for 30 minutes. Drain well.
- Transfer soaked ingredients to a high-power blender with tomato purée, olive oil, lemon juice, nutritional yeast, mixed herbs, garlic powder, and onion powder.
- Add maple syrup, salt, black pepper, and water to the blender.
- Blend until smooth, scraping down the sides. Adjust consistency with more water if needed.
- Transfer the pâté to a container, seal, and refrigerate for up to 5 days.
