  • 4 ounces White American Cheese Good melting cheese like mozzarella works.

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Heat a large skillet over medium heat. Add a drizzle of olive oil and let shimmer for 1-2 minutes.
  2. Sauté sliced bell peppers, red onion, and mushrooms for 5-6 minutes until softened and caramelized.
  3. Add shrimp and taco seasoning into the skillet and stir to coat. Cook for 2-3 minutes until shrimp are pink and opaque.
  4. Lower heat and add cream cheese and heavy cream, stirring until melted into a smooth sauce.
  5. Gradually incorporate shredded pepper jack and white American cheese, stirring until melted.
  6. Combine sautéed shrimp and vegetables back into the skillet with the queso sauce; stir gently and heat through.
