  1. Heat the oil in a large skillet over medium heat for about 1 minute until shimmering.
  2. Add crumbled Italian sausage and cook for approximately 5 minutes, stirring occasionally until browned and cooked through.
  3. Stir in minced garlic and Italian seasoning, cooking for about 1 minute until fragrant.
  4. Add uncooked rigatoni, chicken broth, heavy cream, and tomato sauce, stirring to combine, and bring to a boil.
  5. Cover and reduce heat to low, allowing to simmer for 10-15 minutes while stirring occasionally.
  6. Fold in fresh spinach and cook for an additional 2 minutes with the lid on until wilted.
