Ingredients
  

  • 4 large chocolate croissants cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1 cup whole milk
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • Powdered sugar for dusting optional

Method
 

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9x13-inch baking dish.
  2. Place the cut croissant pieces evenly in the prepared baking dish.
  3. In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, sugar, vanilla extract, cinnamon, and salt until well combined.
  4. Pour the egg mixture over the croissant pieces, ensuring they are evenly soaked.
  5. Sprinkle the semi-sweet chocolate chips over the top.
  6. Bake in the preheated oven for 30-35 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and the center is set.
  7. Allow to cool for a few minutes before serving. Dust with powdered sugar if desired.
