Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Melt the Chocolate: Place 2 cups of white chocolate chips in a microwave-safe bowl. Microwave in 30-second intervals, stirring in between, until smooth, about 1 to 2 minutes.
  2. Coat the Cereal: In a large mixing bowl, pour 6 cups of Chex cereal and drizzle the melted chocolate over it. Gently fold until all pieces are coated, about 2 to 3 minutes.
  3. Add the Cherry Flavoring: Add 1 teaspoon of cherry flavoring and gently fold it in to blend with the coated Chex, taking about 1 minute.
  4. Sugar Coating Time: Transfer the coated cereal into a resealable bag, add 1 cup of cheesecake flavoring sugar, seal, and shake for 30 seconds.
  5. Cool the Mixture: Spread the coated cereal onto a parchment-lined baking sheet and allow to cool completely for about 20 to 30 minutes.
  6. Store and Serve: Once cooled, transfer the Puppy Chow into an airtight container. It can be stored for up to a week.
