Ingredients
  

  • 2 cups cooked brisket shredded
  • 1 cup barbecue sauce
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup sliced pickles
  • 4 large hoagie rolls
  • 2 tablespoons butter softened
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder

Method
 

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a medium bowl, combine the shredded brisket and barbecue sauce, mixing well to coat the meat evenly.
  3. Slice the hoagie rolls in half lengthwise and place them on a baking sheet, cut side up.
  4. In a small bowl, mix the softened butter, garlic powder, and onion powder. Spread this mixture evenly on the cut sides of the hoagie rolls.
  5. Evenly distribute the BBQ brisket mixture onto the hoagie rolls. Top each with shredded cheddar cheese and sliced pickles.
  6. Bake in the preheated oven for about 10-12 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
  7. Remove from the oven and let cool for a minute before serving.
