Preparation Steps
  1. Preheat your grill to medium-high heat, around 375°F to 400°F (190°C to 200°C).
  2. In a medium mixing bowl, combine the lemon juice, minced garlic, dried oregano, olive oil, salt, and pepper. Whisk until well-blended.
  3. Add the chicken breasts into the marinade, ensuring they are well-coated. Marinate in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes.
  4. In a separate bowl, mix together Greek yogurt, grated cucumber, minced garlic, fresh dill, olive oil, salt, and pepper. Stir until combined and refrigerate for at least 15 minutes.
  5. Grill the marinated chicken for 6 to 7 minutes per side until cooked through. Let rest for 5 minutes before slicing.
  6. Warm pita bread on the grill for about 30 seconds on each side.
  7. Spread tzatziki sauce onto the warm pita, layer with sliced chicken, tomatoes, red onion, feta, and lettuce. Add any extra toppings you desire.
  8. Fold the pita in half, wrap it in parchment or foil if desired, and serve immediately.
