  2. In a saucepan, bring apple cider to a gentle boil and reduce to ½ cup, about 10 minutes. Set aside to cool.
  3. Combine reduced apple cider, sour cream, and vanilla extract in a bowl. Melt unsalted butter, let cool slightly, and add to mixture.
  4. Beat eggs and brown sugar until light and frothy, about 3 minutes.
