Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 300°F (150°C) and line a loaf pan with parchment paper.
  2. Separate egg whites and yolks in clean bowls, ensuring no yolk contaminates the whites.
  3. Beat egg whites with cream of tartar until stiff peaks form, about 3–5 minutes.
  4. Combine egg yolks with cream cheese and salt, beating until smooth and creamy.
  5. Gently fold whipped egg whites into the yolk mixture in batches.
  6. Divide batter into bowls and add gel food coloring, stir gently.
  7. Spoon the colored batters into the loaf pan and swirl gently.
  8. Bake for 30–40 minutes until golden and springy.
  9. Cool in the pan for 5-10 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
