Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Drain the pineapple chunks and maraschino cherries, letting them sit in a colander to eliminate excess liquid.
  2. In a bowl, mash the drained pineapple and cherries until they form small pieces.
  3. In a separate large bowl, beat the softened cream cheese, sour cream, and powdered sugar until smooth and creamy.
  4. Fold the mashed fruit into the cream mixture and add in the drained mandarin oranges.
  5. Melt the bright pink candy melts in a microwave-safe bowl until smooth.
