  • 1 cup Greek Yogurt substitute with dairy-free yogurt for a plant-based version
  • 4 cloves Garlic grated
  • 0.5 lemons Lemon Juice juice from

  • 1 lb Ground Beef or ground lamb/turkey
  • 1 Yellow Onion diced
  • 1 tsp Sweet Paprika plus another for butter
  • 1 tsp Garlic Powder skip if using fresh garlic
  • 0.5 tsp Cumin omit for a milder dish
  • 3 tbsp Tomato Paste or sun-dried tomato paste
  • Pepper to taste
For the Toppings
  • 0.25 cup Butter can use oil for a lighter version
  • Cherry Tomatoes halved
  • Fresh Parsley chopped
  • Feta Cheese crumbled; substitute vegan feta if dairy-free
For the Pasta
  • 12 oz Cooked Pasta like fusilli or penne

Method
 

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. In a medium bowl, mix together Greek yogurt, grated garlic, lemon juice, and salt until smooth. Set aside.
  2. Heat a skillet over medium heat, sauté diced onion for 2-3 minutes until softened. Stir in sweet paprika, garlic powder, and cumin for 2 minutes.
  3. Add ground beef, cook until browned (about 10 minutes), seasoning with salt, pepper, and tomato paste. Simmer for 2-3 minutes.
  4. In a saucepan, melt butter over medium-low heat, stir in sweet paprika, and let bubble for 1 minute. Set aside.
  5. Cook pasta according to package instructions until al dente, drain well. Serve with garlic yogurt, spiced beef, and drizzle warm paprika butter over the top.
  6. Garnish with cherry tomatoes, feta cheese, and parsley. Serve warm.
