Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup rolled oats
  • 1/2 cup natural peanut butter
  • 1/4 cup honey or maple syrup
  • 1/2 cup chocolate protein powder
  • 1/4 cup mini chocolate chips
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Method
 

  1. In a large mixing bowl, combine the rolled oats, peanut butter, honey (or maple syrup), chocolate protein powder, mini chocolate chips, salt, and vanilla extract.
  2. Mix all the ingredients together until well combined. You may need to use your hands to ensure everything is evenly mixed.
  3. Once the mixture is fully combined, refrigerate it for about 30 minutes to make it easier to handle.
  4. After chilling, scoop out tablespoon-sized portions of the mixture and roll them into balls.
  5. Place the protein bites on a parchment-lined baking sheet or plate.
  6. Store the bites in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to one week or freeze for longer storage.
